The latest injury report brings troubling news for the New Orleans Saints ahead of their matchup with the Atlanta Falcons, as both starting linebackers missed practice and several key defensive players are dealing with injuries that put their status in doubt for Monday’s game. Depth options at linebacker will be tested, especially with the Saints' run defense struggling and the threat posed by Atlanta’s Bijan Robinson. Despite the bleak outlook, there are bright spots: promising rookies on both sides of the ball returned to practice and could provide a boost, and the extended rest before Monday’s game gives injured players extra time to recover. The Falcons' injury list is less concerning, with most of their sidelined players expected to return.
