The New Orleans Saints face mounting challenges as the season slips away, putting the spotlight squarely on their NFL Draft strategy. With the team holding the number 10 pick, expectations are sky-high for a much-needed defensive boost. Could Clemson’s Ashton Hampton be the immediate impact cornerback to anchor a shaky secondary? His physical style and strong performance against top talent like Malachi Tony make him a name Saints fans can’t afford to ignore. Rotational pass rush remains a top priority for New Orleans, with Louisville’s Clev Lubin emerging as a prime target in the second round. Lubin’s productivity, versatility, and high motor offer hope for a defense grappling with inconsistency. Will the Saints’ decision to bypass offensive line reinforcements prove wise, or will it haunt them in the trenches? As the Saints shift focus early to draft season, every pick could shape the franchise’s future.
